50 Pounds Down!!!

I know I haven't written in a while and I apologize for that. Towards the end of the summer I was not eating at my best, then I got a job and just got BUSY! But today I have to write. I hit the coveted 50 POUNDS DOWN mark!! I am so excited about this milestone, as it seemed to take forever to get from 40 to 50 pounds (because of aforementioned bad eating). It took a full 9 months, but I hit 50 pounds today. I really don't care how long it takes me to lose this weight. I am just transfixed by the transformation. Look at this picture. Day 1 and Day 272: I literally looked swollen. I can't believe it. I am in a size 10 pants now (18 then) and a size medium shirt (at least an XL then). I NEVER thought I'd wear these sizes again. I never wanted to be on a diet. I was happy being fat. But I didn't know what happy was, did I? My new mantra is, "Nothing tastes as good as being skinny feels." And it is so true! (I got that either from the weight watcher's facebook page or Hungry Girl.) I'm not stopping here though. My initial goal was 65pounds, but we'll just see how I feel when I get there. I may strive for more. 50 pounds. I can't believe it. I'm just so excited!

Bad Week

I haven't posted since last Friday because I've been busy and a tad off plan. I do want to share some pictures with you though. This was Pot Roast Sunday:

Tuesday we had family stop by our house on their way through, so we had dinner at a Mexican restaurant. It wouldn't have been TOO bad on points since I got fajitas, but I ate my weight in chips.

Then Wednesday night we went to the WV State Fair. I knew I was going to be 'bad' on points, so I didn't even try. I had a Cheesesteak (not worth it), homemade potato chips (worth it), and part of a cinnamon roll (not worth it).

Today...today I'm back on track. I had a Lean Cuisine deluxe pizza for lunch that was 9 points. Then, for dinner, we had baked pork chops (4 points), chicken & broccoli flavored rice (3 points), peas (1 point), and corn (2 points). 10 points for dinner.

For dessert tonight I had 1/2 cup of Edy's light ice cream (4 points) and 1/2T of creamy pb (1 point). 5 points

Then, closer to bedtime, I had 1/2 cup of Gardetto's (4 points). I probably shouldn't have had this snack, but I wanted something salty.

Saturday

The frosted mini-wheats back to school commercials got me and I broke down and bought some yesterday thinking they wouldn't be too bad on points. 5 POINTS for 1 serving, which is miraculously SMALL...and that's before adding milk. Sigh...Oh well. I had some this morning anyway. It IS Saturday after all. :) 7 point breakfast.

I had a Lean Cuisine pizza for lunch. Spinach & Mushroom. 9 points

We went to Charleston, WV today and my eating went downhill. I had popcorn and Coke at Target. I had several bites of a gyro with tzatziki. My dinner wasn't too bad - a Subway kid's meal, which was a 4" roast beef sub. I did get Coke Zero to drink, but I opted for cookies instead of apples and ate 1.5 of the white chocolate macadamia nut cookies. I have no idea what the points were for all of that. Maybe tomorrow I'll stay on plan. :)

Healthy Choice Meals

For lunch today I had a Healthy Choice golden roasted turkey breast meal. 7 points. And it was a lot of food WITH DESSERT for only 7 points!!

YUM! For a snack this evening, while trying to figure out what to do for dinner, I had 14 pretzel sticks (1 point) and 1 T of Food Lion brand (yesterday I mistakenly said Kroger brand) spinach dip from the refrigerator section (1 point). A delicious and filling 2 point snack!

For dinner I had a Healthy Choice meal - Beef Tips portobello. It also came with a dessert and was only 6 points!! I had to calculate it twice just to be sure. That is VERY low in points. I also had some Ore Ida sweet potato fries. 22 fries = 4 points. 10 points for dinner.

I had 1 more snack of 14 pretzel sticks and 1T of spinach dip while watching tv this evening. That's good stuff. 2 points

Spinach dip for breakfast/lunch

For lunch today I had 8 multigrain crackers (2 points) with 2T of Kroger brand spinach dip (3 points). Then, a few minutes later, I had a biscuit (5 points) with 1T light ICBINB (1 point). 11 points for a strange, but good, lunch. :)

For dinner I had a 5 oz Greek pork chop (5 points), 1/2 cup Idahoan instant loaded mashed potatoes (3 points), 1/3 cup of kernel corn (1 point), and 1/3 cup green peas (1 point). 9 points for dinner.

For dessert I had some Edy's chocolate ice cream with creamy pb mixed in. It normally would have been 4 points for 1/2 cup of my concoction, but I had more than 1/2 cup. I'm going to count it as 6 points.

For lunch today I had a yummy Lean Cuisine meal - Alfredo pasta with chicken & broccoli. 8 points

I had 1/2 cup of Dark Chocolate Chex Mix as a snack this afternoon. Love that stuff! 4 points

I went to Cracker Barrel for dinner and had 4 grilled chicken tenderloins (4 points), 1 cornbread with 1 butter (6 points), carrots, & green beans (1 point). I drank the Peach tea sweetened with Splenda and it is really good. 11 points for a delicious dinner!

I had 1 Nestle Tollhouse ready to bake cookie tonight. 2 points

No dessert for me tonight. :(

For breakfast this morning I had 7 Cruchmaster Multigrain crackers (from Sam's - 2 points) and 1 wedge of garlic & herb laughing cow cheese (1 point). 3 points

Then I had a bowl of cold watermelon. Yum!!

I had a sandwich for lunch. It was on Nature's Own 100% whole wheat bread (3 points for 2 slices), 3 oz deli chicken (2 points), 1T olive oil mayo (1 point), and tomato. I had 11 Wavy Lay's with it (4 points). 10 points for lunch.

For dinner I had boneless chicken breast breaded in a seasoned flour (5 points), kernel corn (2 points), Idahoan baby reds mashed potatoes (3 points) and 1 roll (bigger than what I normally buy, so 4 points for the roll) with 1T light ICBINB (5 points). 15 points for dinner.

Italian for lunch

Monday Monday Monday! I didn't have breakfast this morning, but check out my lunch...
This is a Lean Cuisine lasagne and a Rosemary & Sea Salt focaccia breadstick from Sam's. This wasn't even the whole breadstick. It broke in half when I picked it apart from the rest in the bag. 1 stick would have been 4 points, so I'm counting this as 3 (it's a little more than half). 11 points for lunch, which a lot, but it was like eating at a restaurant!! YUM!!

I had some popcorn this afternoon. 5 cups of Pop Weaver butter is 3 points.

We had dinner at Logan's. I had 1 roll w/butter (7 points), the mesquite grilled chicken (4 points), broccoli and a salad with fat free balsamic vinagraitte dressing (3 points). 14 points for dinner.

Ice cream for dinner?!

I was bad today. I went to Calacino's Pizzeria, a local pizza shop here in Beckley, and had almost all of a small pizza with bacon, mushrooms, & tomatoes. It was SOO good and I'm sure a ton of points. Unfortunately, they don't advertise their nutritional value, so I can't figure the points, but I'm guessing it was probably at least 20.

I still wasn't hungry at 8:00 tonight, so I didn't have any dinner. I did have 1/2 cup of ice cream with PB at 9:30 though. I might skip dinner, but I refuse to skip dessert! :) 4 points

Pork Chops for dinner

For lunch today I had a Healthy Choice meal - Chicken Pesto Alfredo. This is the one with the cherry/blueberry dessert. YUM. 8 points

I had popcorn for a snack this afternoon - Orville Redenbacher's Movie Theater butter. 3 cups = 3 points

For dinner I had a 3 oz pork chop (3 points), 1/2 cup of cheddar broccoli rice (3 points), 1/3 cup of green peas (1 point), and 1 roll with 1T light ICBINB (3 points). 10 points for dinner.

For dessert tonight I had 1/2 cup of Edy's light chocolate ice cream (3 points) with 1/2 T of creamy pb (1 point).

Then later I had 1/8 cup of almonds for 3 points.

I actually got up in time for breakfast this morning. LOL I had a Special K chocolatey pretzel bar. 2 points

For lunch I had a Healthy Choice meal. I don't know why I havent' tried these in the 7 months I've been losing weight. They're pretty good. And last week I had one with a delicious dessert, some blueberry cherry concoction. Today's meal was Sundried Tomato & Chicken Alfredo. 7 points

I had a salad for a snack this afternoon. 1 point for the dressing.

For dinner I had 3 oz of boneless chicken breast (3 points), 2/3 cup of Betty Crocker Loaded potatoes (4 points), 1/2 cup of lima beans (2 points), and 1 roll with light ICBINB (3 points). 12 points

I had a Smart Ones fudge brownie sundae for dessert. 4 points

Back on the Wagon!

I have been off the wagon for the last week. I haven't written here and I haven't counted points. I haven't used my calculator since I had my surgery on July 6, but I was at least keeping up with my points in my head until a week ago. Well, today I'm back to it. I have gained weight and I want to keep going in the opposite direction! 29 points a day. 29 points a day. I can do this.

For lunch today I had a Lean Cuisine BBQ chicken pizza. 9 points

For a snack this afternoon I had 5 Ritz crackers (2 points), with 2T of the Weight Watchers cream cheese (2 points) and 1T of strawberry preserves (1 point). 5 points

For dinner I made homemade BBQ pork. I had a sandwich (7 points) and 11 Wavy Lay's potato chips (4 points), plus another spoonful of BBQ (2 points). 13 points for dinner.

Raisin Bran is expensive

I had a bowl of Raisin Bran with Splenda and 2% milk for breakfast. I have no idea how many points it was, but I'm going to estimate about 6. ... Okay, I calculated the points. 1 cup of cereal is 5 points. Plus the milk and I'm looking at 8 points for breakfast. Ouch.

I had a Smart Ones chicken quesadilla for a late lunch (around 3:30). 5 points

For dinner tonight we had beer butt chicken, of which I had a breast (I'm going to count 7 points), potatoes cut up and baked under the chicken (I'll count 5 points), and green beans. 12 points

For lunch today I had leftover grilled chicken & rice from Logan's. 5 points

I made Greek pork chops for dinner. I had 1 chop (5 points), 1/2 cup of broccoli & cheese flavored rice (3 points), 1/2 cup of lima beans (2 points), and 1 roll with light ICBINB (3 points). 13 points for dinner.

My husband went to Kroger tonight and brought home some Chips Ahoy cookies since they were on sale. I not so patiently awaited his arrival, knowing the cookies would accompany him. I thought I could have a couple with some milk and it wouldn't be TOO many points, and I had a few leftover for today anyway. I calculated the points and it's 5 POINTS for only 3 cookies. Hmph! That's not even including the milk. I opted to have a Smart Ones fudge sundae instead for only 4 points.

Logan's

For lunch today I had a Lean Cuisine lasagne and 2 slices of french bread with light ICBINB. 10 points

We went to Logan's for dinner and I had 1/2 of a roll with butter (I'll count 5 points), 1/2 of the mesquite grilled chicken (3 points), a little broccoli, and a salad with ranch dressing (I'll count 5 points). The kicker was that I had sweet tea with my meal though. I never actually *order* tea for myself. I usually only steal some from my husband. So, I'll say I probably drank about 5 points worth of tea. 18 points for dinner.

This evening I had some of my Blizzard that was leftover from the other night. 5 points

Then I had an orange. Yum.

For dinner I had a Southwest Chargrilled Chicken salad from Chick-Fil-A with fat free honey mustard dressing AND the tortilla strips(9 points) and a small order of waffle fries (8 points). 17 points

Pizza & ice cream

Well, it is 1 week past my surgery date and my weight is back down to just below what I was when I first got sick. Yay!! The day I got home from the hospital I was 16 POUNDS heavier than before I got sick. I know they filled me with fluids while in the hospital, but geez!! Anyway, I'm glad it went down on its own and I didn't have to work for weeks to get it off. I am feeling pretty good today and I think I'm ready to get back in the habit of journaling my food intake each day.

Today, for lunch, I had what I've had every day this week I think - a tomato sandwich. I had never had a tomato sandwich before this week, but they're delicious. I used 2 slices of Nature's Own 100% wheat bread (3 points), 1 vine ripened tomato, 1T Kraft real mayonaise (spread between both slices of bread) (3 points), and salt and ground black pepper. I also had 11 Wavy Lays potato chips (4 points). 10 points for lunch. I will say that previously this week I was not measuring the mayo, but still spread it really thin. Even thinly spread it was more than the 1T I used today and it did taste better. LOL What doesn't taste better with more mayo??

For dinner tonight we went to a local pizza place I've been wanting to try. I had white pizza with tomatoes and mushrooms. I'll count 16 points. I ate 1/2 of a small pizza. Then I had about 1/3 of a small pb & chocolate blizzard. 5 points.

I've been in the hospital

I haven't posted since June 30th and I apologize for that. I got home from being out of town on July 4th, but that was after an ER visit in GA and a miserable ride home from GA to WV. I went to bed, but only lasted about 3 hours before I was awake with pain and ended up in the ER again here at home in WV. I was having a severe gallbladder attack. They did an ultrasound and apparently my gallbladder was full of gallstones, something I never knew. I found that out on Tuesday. They did surgery to remove my gallbladder on Wednesday. I got out of the hospital on Saturday (yesterday). It had been a pretty miserable week. The dr. said I have to be on a low fat diet for the next 2 weeks. I don't know how that will effect my current eating plan, as I don't really focus on fat. Anyway, that's where I've been. I am on pain meds and I am finding as I type this that the meds are really affecting my typing skills. LOL Hopefully I'll be back to daily posting in a week or so.

Happy 4th of July!!

I'm sorry to leave y'all again, but we just can't sit still this summer. We are going to GA again for the July 4th weekend. I am happy to report that I have lost 5.2 pounds since I returned from our beach/lake vacation 9 days ago! That makes for a total of 37 pounds lost! That is SO VERY exciting! This is the longes I've ever stayed on a weight loss plan and I couldn't be happier about it.

For lunch today I had a Smart Ones chicken enchilada suiza (7 points) and 22 bite size tortilla rounds (4 points). 11 points for lunch. I didn't eat all of the chips, but since I had counted them out I just went ahead and counted the points.

We hope to leave here by 4:00 this afternoon, so I won't get to post my dinner, but I'm planning for it to be either a McDonald's salad or a Chick-fil-A salad, so I shouldn't go over points. I can't say that for the weekend coming up though, as I'm sure I'll be eating out a good bit. Have a GREAT 4th of July!! I should be back Monday or Tuesday.

This afternoon I had 22 bite size tortilla chips. 4 points

Since we didn't have Pot Roast Sunday yesterday we had Pot Roast Monday today. I had 5 ounces of pot roast (6 points), 1/2 cup of white rice (3 points), carrots, green beans, and 1 roll with 1T of light ICBINB (3 points). 12 points

For dessert tonight I had a Smart Ones fudge brownie sundae. 4 points

Mint Oreo Ice Cream

I am back from camping and I stayed on plan all weekend. Yesterday I had a Special K bar and a banana for breakfast, a grilled chicken salad for lunch, some Whale crackers in the afternoon, and BBQ pork chop, macaroni salad, baked beans, and a salad for dinner. Oh, and 2 s'mores, but that shouldn't have put me over by too much.

For breakfast this morning I had a Special K bar. 2 points

For lunch I had a Smart Ones beef pot roast meal. 4 points

We went to Logan's for dinner. I had 1 roll with butter (6 points), the mesquite grilled chicken (4 points), and broccoli (free). 10 points

I had some Breyer's mint Oreo ice cream for dessert tonight. 1/2 cup is only 3 points, but I had more than 1/2 cup, so I'll count 5 points.

Camping again

I had a single Reese's cup for a snack this afternoon. 2 points

We are leaving this evening to go camping again. It's 5:00 PM and we haven't left yet and I am hungry, so I am having a Special K bar to hold me over until we cook at the campsite. 2 points

For dinner I "should" be having grilled pork chops (4 points), rice (3 points), and canned green beans (free). 7 points for dinner.

I skipped breakfast today. For lunch I had a new Smart Ones meal in a steamable bag. It was ziti with meatballs and cheese. I wasn't a big fan of the meatballs. Also it was 10 points, which is a lot for a Smart Ones meal.

Back from Vacation!

Sorry I have been MIA for so long. I left for vacation on Saturday June 11 and didn't get home until yesterday. I didn't count points while I was gone. Sometimes I made good food choices and other times I just ate whatever I wanted, but I managed to only gain 2 pounds while gone all that time, so I am happy with that! Now it's time to get back on plan and start blogging my daily food intake again. Being that it's summer time, I will likely skip breakfast often.

This morning I had a Special K chocolatey pretzel bar for breakfast. 2 points

My lunch was a Lean Cuisine lasagne (7 points) and 2 slices of french bread with light ICBINB (3 points). 10 points for lunch.

I made baked chicken thighs for dinner. I had 1 thigh with skin (bone-in) (4 points), 1/2 cup of chicken flavored rice (3 points), green beans, and a salad with 2 T of light Asian Toasted Sesame dressing (1 point). 8 points for dinner.


While I was on vacation my friend introduced me to Cool Mint Oreos and they are DELICIOUS!! I had some extra points tonight, so I had 3 cookies (6 points) and a cup of 2% milk (3 points). YUM!! 9 point dessert...more than dinner. LOL

Chocolate Fudge Brownie Sundae

I slept late today and then waited on lunch instead of having breakfast. For lunch I had the Lean Cuisine lasagne (7 points) and a slice of toast (3 points). 10 points for lunch.


I had a snack of broccoli slaw with 1/8 cup of almonds and 2 T of Kraft light Asian Toasted Sesame dressing this afternoon. 3 points

For dinner I had a 4 oz baked pork chop (4 points), 1 cup of red potatoes with ICBINB (5 points), and broccoli. 9 points for a delicious dinner.


For dessert I had a Smart Ones chocolate fudge brownie sundae for 4 points. It's SO good!

Cracker Barrel for dinner

Today was the first day of summer vacation and I woke up to my kids fighting at 9 AM. I was so busy dealing with them that I didn't eat until 11:00 AM. I had a Smart Ones canadian bacon & egg English muffin. 6 points

Some friends stopped by to visit me this afternoon and we went to Cracker Barrel for an early dinner. I had the grilled chicken tenderloins (4 points), green beans (1 point), carrots (free), 2 corn muffins with butter (12 points) and 1 biscuit with jelly (5 points). I had their Peach Tea to drink. It is flavored with Splenda and it quite yummy! 22 points for dinner.

I had a chunk of Godiva dark chocolate this evening. 2 points.

Tuesday

Breakfast this morning was a Special K bar and 1/2 cup of milk. 4 points

For lunch I sauteed a leftover grilled chicken breast from last night (3 points) and 1/8 cup of almonds (2 opints). I then added 4 T of Kraft Light Asiang Toasted Sesame dressing (3 points), removed it from the heat and added about half a bag of broccoli slaw. I mixed it all up and dug in. It was delicious!! 8 points


My son had his 5th grade graduation today, so we celebrated by going to Logan's afterwards. I didn't get a meal, but I did have a roll with butter (7 points) and sweet tea (5 points). 12 points

I had a Smart Ones Fudge Sundae for dessert tonight. 4 points

Grilled Chicken

I had a chocolatey pretzel Special K bar and a cup of milk for breakfast this morning. 5 points

Lunch was a Smart Ones mini cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, pickles, ketchup, & mustard (5 points) and 11 Wavy Lay's potato chips (4 points). 9 points

We grilled boneless skinless chicken for dinner tonight (3 points), along with cheddar & bacon flavored potatoes (4 points for 2/3 cup), steamed broccoli, a salad of broccoli slaw & cucumber with 2 T of Kraft light Asian Toasted Sesame dresing (1 point) and 1 roll with ICBINB (3 points). 11 points for dinner.

I had a square of Godiva dark chocolate for my dessert tonight. 2 points

I love Sundays!

I slept in today, so I breakfast was really late (or lunch was early). We took the family to Tudor's Biscuit World and I had a biscuit with gravy. 15 points and very much worth it. :)

I also had sips of sweet tea and coke every now and then today, so I'm going to count 3 points for that.

It's Sunday, so it's Pot Roast Day! I had a lot of roast on my plate tonight, but I didn't weigh it. I'll say it was about 5 ounces, so we'll go with about 7 points. I also had 1/2 cup of white rice (3 points), green beans, carrots, and 1 roll with ICBINB (3 points). 13 points for dinner and I only had 11 left for the day, so I guess I'll skip dessert tonight. By the way, I never did eat anything extra last night either. :)

It's Saturday and we had soccer all day, but I came home for my own lunch.

For breakfast I had a cheesy ham scramble. 5 points

Lunch was a chicken salad like yesterday, only without croutons. 8 points

For dinner we had Little Caesar's and even though I could have stopped at 2 slices, I didn't. I had 3 slices of sausage pizza. Overindulgence on my part and now I have heartburn. One can't always be perfect though, can we? ;) 24 points for the pizza.

Well, it's 10:00 PM and I haven't published this post yet because I want something to eat, but I'm not sure what. I'm out of points anyway, so I guess I'll just go ahead and post. You should know though that I most likely WILL eat something else tonight. That's how I roll. :)

Yumminess in a salad dressing

I had a Smart Ones breakfast quesadilla for breakfast again this morning. 5 points

I was out shopping this morning and was starving by noon, but I rushed home to have lunch instead of getting something out. Yay me! :) I cut up a piece of leftover chicken from last night and sauteed it with a tiny bit of butter and more salt, pepper, and garlic powder (4 points) and put it over a salad with broccoli slaw, croutons (2 points) and 3T of Kraft light Asian Toasted Sesame dressing (2 points). It was very good! The dressing was delicious really. 8 points for lunch.


This afternoon I had a banana and a chocolatey pretzel Special K bar for a snack. 2 points.

Dinner was yummy tonight. I really wanted to make fried pork chops, but I didn't want to ruin my weigh-in tomorrow, so I compromised. I made oven fried pork chops instead, using "Mama's Seasoned" coating mix and spray butter instead of oil. This added 1 point to my 3 point, 3 ounce pork chop. I also made Betty Crocker sour cream & chives potatoes. They were SO good! 4 points for 2/3 cup of them. Then I had green beans and some broccoli slaw topped with the same salad dressing I had at lunch (1 point). 9 points for dinner.

My dessert tonight was a Smart Ones Fudge Brownie Sundae. 4 points and YUMMY!

Popcorn & Reese's Cups

This morning I had a Smart Ones breakfast quesadilla for breakfast. 5 points

For lunch I had a Smart Ones mini cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, pickles, ketchup, & mustard (5 points) and 11 Wavy Lays potato chips (4 points). 9 points for lunch.

For dinner I made this chicken recipe. It was just okay. I think I let it sit too long while cooking the sides because it was a little tough and NOT seasoned well enough. Oh well. It was worth a try. I'll count 4 points for the chicken. I had a 3 oz piece which is 3 points, but I'll add a point for the olive oil/butter that it was cooked in. I also had 1/2 cup of instant loaded mashed potatoes (3 points), green beans, broccoli slaw heated with soy sauce (not good), and 1 roll with ICBINB (3 points). 10 points for dinner.

We were at the soccer fields late tonight, but I had my snack all planned out: popcorn and a reese's cup. So, even though it's 10:00 PM now, I'm about to have my 5 cups of popcorn (3 points) and 1 reese's (2 points) to finish out my points for the day.

Pork Chops

I started the Jillian Michaels Detox & Cleanse again today. I did it back in January when I first started my weight loss journey. It says you can do it every 3-4 months, so I figured after the weekend I had, this would be a good time to do it again.

For breakfast this morning I had a Special K bar and 1/2 cup of milk. 4 points
For lunch I had a Smart Ones pot roast with mashed potatoes. 5 points. The pot roast was good, but the potatoes were flavorless.

Dinner was a 3 oz pork chop (after I cut it off the bone) (3 points), 1/2 cup of chicken & broccoli flavored rice (3 points), broccoli, and 1 roll with ICBINB (3 points). YUM! 9 points for dinner.

My dessert tonight was a Skinny Cow cookies n cream ice cream sandwich. Very good! 4 points

Grilled burgers

I went to Georgia for the Memorial Day weekend and didn't even bother to TRY to count points. I had so many meal dates that I knew I would be WAY off plan all weekend, so I just accepted it, ate what I wanted, and started over today. I was 5 pounds up this morning from what I was on Friday, but I was prepared for that I know I can make it up, so it's not bothering me.

Today I had a Special K peaches & berries bar for breakfast. 2 points

Honestly, I was so tired from not sleeping well all weekend, that I napped through lunch. I know that is not good and not the way to get back on track, but oh well. It's what happened. I had an apple at 3:30.

For dinner I had 2 hamburgers grilled at home (5 points each, plus 3 for each bun) and Wavy Lays potato chips (4 points for 11 chips). 20 points I could have gone with only 1 burger and been fine, but he had a fresh one off the grill and the 1st one was so good, that I caved. I didn't go over points for the day, but 20 in one meal probably isn't the best thing to do. No dessert tonight.

Spaghetti Dinner

I had a Special K bar and 1 cup of milk this morning for breakfast. 5 points

For lunch I had a Lean Cuisine chicken poblano meal. 7 points

We had dinner at our Cub Scout spaghetti dinner tonight. I had spaghetti (12 points), garlic bread (4 points), salad (2 points), and a cupcake (I'm counting 8 points. The WW book has SO many different numbers for cake and cupcakes.) 26 points for dinner. Everything was pretty much estimated since I didn't make any of it myself, so I'm hoping I overestimated. The cupcake SURE was good though. :)

Cracker Barrel for only 11 points!

For breakfast this morning I had a Smart Ones cheesy scrambled eggs & hashbrowns meal. 5 points

Then I had a cup of tea with 2 T Splenda and 2 T fat free French vanilla creamer. 1 point

For lunch I had a Smart Ones spaghetti, some leftover green beans, and a roll with ICBINB. 10 points Then I had 1 Godiva dark chocolate gem. 1 point

We went to Cracker Barrel for dinner and I actually restrained myself and only had 1 corn muffin. :) I had 4 grilled chicken tenderloins (4 points), green beans (1 point), carrots (free), and 1 corn muffin (5 points) with 1 container of whipped butter (1 point). 11 points for a yummy dinner, although I sure did want another corn muffin. :)

I have 1 point left and I'm going to spend it on 1 Godiva dark chocolate gem. Good night.

Bad Chicken Enchilada

Breakfast was a Special K bar and milk this morning. 5 points

For lunch I tried the Lean Cruisine Chicken Enchilada Suiza and I couldn't eat it. The rice was good, but the enchilada was nasty. I only had one bite of the enchilada, and ate half the rice. I really like the Smart Ones version though. I had already punched the 7 points into my calculator, so I'll just leave it at that. I ate my leftover potatoes and green beans from last night instead.

For dinner I had a Chick Fil A Southwestern grilled chicken salad with fat free honey mustard dressing & croutons instead of tortilla strips(10 points) and a medium order of waffle fries (10 points). 20 points

Chocolate and kiwi

This morning I had a Special K chocolatey pretzel bar and 1 cup of 2% milk for breakfast. 5 points

I didn't have anything for lunch today, but I did have a pear at 3.

For dinner we had pot roast and it was SO good. I had 4 ounces of roast (6 points), some new potatoes baked with ICBINB (4 points), green beans, and 1 roll with ICBINB (3 points). 13 points for a very delicious dinner.

For dessert I had a Smart Ones brownie a la mode. 5 points. And then I had a kiwi, too.

Beer Butt Chicken Sunday

I stayed up to watch SNL last night, so I slept through breakfast this morning. For lunch I had a Lean Cuisine Chicken Poblano. 7 points

I had an apple and some trail mix for a snack this afternoon. 3 points

I know it's Sunday and we're supposed to have Pot Roast, but I didn't have a fresh one and I didn't thaw one yesterday, so we made a beer butt chicken instead. I had a breast (7 points), 1/2 cup of pasta salad (4 points), green beans, cut up cucumber & tomatoes, and 2 dinner rolls with ICBINB (4 points). 15 points for dinner.

Dessert was 2 Godiva dark chocolate gems. 2 points

Another GREAT weigh-in!!

I had another great weigh-in this week!! Woo hoo! 2.2 pounds down this week, for a total of 32.8 pounds! My daily weighs were really good all week, so good that I had forgotten what my weight was last weekend. So when I weighed this morning I was up a little from what it had been earlier in the week, which made me think I was pretty close to what I had been last Saturday, but NOPE; when I looked at my chart I saw that I was actually 2.2 pounds down. SO exciting!!

I had a Special K bar and 1 cup of 2% milk for breakfast. 5 points

We went to Lewisburg, WV today to visit caves and a Civil War reenactment, so we had lunch out. I had a steak sandwich, a salad, and a roll. I'm not sure on the points, but I'm going to estimate them at 3 points for the salad, 5 for the roll, and 15 for the sandwich. So, 23 points for lunch. I obviously gave myself the day off. :)

For dinner we grilled steaks. I marinated the steak in an ICBINB mixture, so I'm counting 7 points for the steak. I also had 1/2 cup of pasta salad (4 points), 1 mini corn on the cob (2 points), 1 roll with ICBINB (3 points) and some cut up cucumbers and tomatoes. 16 points for dinner.

Subway for dinner

For breakfast this morning I had a Smart Ones English muffin sandwich. 6 points

Lunch was a Lean Cuisine Chicken with penne pasta meal. 8 points, although I didn't eat the apple dessert that was in it, but since I don't know how many points that would be I have to count the full 8.

This afternoon I had a little bit of trail mix for a snack. About 2 points worth. I wanted to eat the whole bowl I had made, but it was 5 points and I'm trying to have a good weigh-in tomorrow. Then a little later I had some baby carrots and a banana. Sigh... I was hungry this afternoon/evening. I was waiting for my husband to get home to grill steaks for dinner, but then we decided it was too late and he just picked up Subway on the way home instead.

So for dinner I had a 6" subway club on white bread with provolone cheese, lite mayo, cucumbers, olives, lettuce, tomatoes, and salt & pepper. 9 points. I also had 14 Special K sour cream & onion cracker chips. 1 point. So, 10 points for dinner.

For dessert I was going to have 3 chunks of my Ritter dark chocolate, but I guess it's been opened too long because the first chunk didn't taste as good as I remembered. So I had that 1 chunk and then 2 Godiva dark chocolate gems. 2 points total.

For breakfast this morning I had a Smart Ones french toast with turkey sausage. The french toast wasn't bad, but I didn't like the sausage. And with it being 7 points, I doubt I'll buy it again.


For lunch I had one of my favorite Lean Cuisine meals, Cheddar potatoes with broccoli. 5 points

For a snack this afternoon I had a peaches & berries Special K bar. 2 points

I was pretty hungry this afternoon for some reason. I had some baby carrots around 4:15.

We had soccer tonight, so my dinner was very late (almost 9:00). I had the Lean Cuisine lasagne and 2 pieces of French bread with ICBINB. 11 points

Free Food

For lunch I had a Smart Ones chicken santa fe for only 3 points.

I later had 5 cups of popcorn for a snack. 3 points

For dinner I had pizza from Domino's - 1 piece of pepperoni and 1 piece of sausage. 16 points. I also had almost all of an individual bag of regular Lay's potato chips. 4 points. We had a Cub Scout field trip and they fed us, so I couldn't pass up free food.

I went over by 2 points today, so I just had a kiwi for my snack/dessert this evening.

Sunday Pot Roast and Survivor

I had a Special K bar this morning for breakfast. I wanted Tudor's Biscuit World, but I was determined to have a "good" weekend. 2 points

I had a late breafkast, and thus no lunch. Plus I cleaned through lunch, so by 3:00 I was pretty hungry. I had a Smart Ones Fiesta Quesadilla for a mid-afternoon snack. 5 points. I didn't want to ruin my appetite for Pot Roast Sunday, so I didn't have anything with it like I probably would have for a 'real' lunch.

Dinner was Pot Roast. Yum! I'm counting 5 points for the pot roast (it's different points for different cuts and I don't remember which cut this was.). I had 1/4 cup each of white rice and instant loaded mashed potatoes (3 points total), 1/2 cup of baby lima beans (2 points), and 1 roll with ICBINB (3 points). 13 points for dinner.


That leaves me with 9 points to have a dessert/snack during the Survivor finale. What shall I have?

Since I had the points and I stayed on plan this weekend for the first weekend in forever, I decided to splurge. I had 3 Chips Ahoy cookies (5 points) and a cup of 2%milk (3 points) for my dessert. It was well worth the 8 points. I didn't wait for Survivor though. I ate it at 7:00. I figured the earlier, the better.

Great weigh-in!!!

ALL week I was playing catch-up from being home last weekend. I never got back to what I was last Friday before I left...until this morning!! And now I'm 1.2 pounds LESS than I was at last Friday's weigh-in. WOO HOO!!! 30.6 pounds, baby!! SOOOOO excited!

For breakfast today I had a Smart Ones English Muffin Sandwich. 6 points

For lunch I treated myself with some Little Caesar's. I had 2 pieces of pepperoni @ 8 points each. 16 points I had a pear for dessert.

I had a snack of 3 Godiva dark chocolate gems between this afternoon and this evening. 2 points

Dinner was beef brisket (4 points), mashed potatoes (3 points), kernel corn (1 point) and 1 slice of French bread with ICBINB (2 points). 10 points for dinner. I went over my daily allowed points (29) by 5, but that's still WAY better than when I'm out of town on the weekend. :) Last weekend I had 59 points on Saturday and 65 on Sunday. I'm still shocked that I recovered from that within the week.

It's like Thanksgiving...only not.

For breakfast this morning I had a Smart Ones ham and cheese scramble. 5 points

Lunch was a Smart Ones mini cheeseburger with bacon addedd, topped with ketchup, mustard, and pickles. 6 points I also had 11 sour cream & onion Popchips. 2 points


For dinner I had a Smart Ones turkey and mashed potato meal. It was just okay. I probably won't buy it again. But the good part of dinner was the sweet potatoes I made. I cute them into about 1" chunks and put them in a gallon baggie with 1T ICBINB (melted), 1T brown sugar, 1T Splenda, and some cinnamon. Then I baked them at 400 degrees for about 35 minutes. I sprinkled more Splenda and cinnamon on them after they were done. Quite yummy 6 points for the sweet potato (1 large, but I didn't eat the whole thing...oh, WITH the skin on) and 5 points for the turkey dinner equals 11 points for dinner. I also had half of a cucumber and about 6 baby carrots while waiting on the sweet potatoes to cook.

I had dessert tonight. Breyer's 1/2 the fat dark chocolate ice cream with 1/2 T of pb mixed in. I'll go with 5 points. It should be 4, but I scooped out more than 1/2 cup of ice cream.

Thursday

Blogger had some maintenance issues so I couldn't post at all on Thursday. Here is all that info though. :)

For breakfast today I had 2 slices of bacon and 2 slices of cinnamon toast. 6 points

For lunch I had a Smart Ones fiesta quesadilla (5 points) and some cucumbers diced and mixed with 1 T of Dijon dill dip (2 points), along with some baby carrots. 7 points I went back for seconds on the cucumbers and carrots. Yum. I tried organic baby carrots for the first time and they were BETTER than the baby carrots I usually get. I don't really know why, but they were. They seemed really fresh, firm but not hard, really easy to bite.


I had a Chocolatey pretzel Special K bar at 6 this evening (2 points). The kids had a skating party, so I had a late dinner of Lean Cuisine lasagne and 3 pieces of Italian bread with ICBING. I finally bought some Light ICBINB, so It’s now only 1 point for a T instead of 2. 13 points for dinner.

For dessert I had 3 Godiva dark chocolate gems. 2 points

Birthday Cake

I had 2 slices of bacon for breakfast this morning. 2 points

I had a special K bar around 10:00 this morning. I was starving this morning for some reason. 2 points

For lunch I had a Smart Ones lasagne. 7 points. I really like the Lean Cuisine lasagne better.

Today is my youngest son's birthday, so I made cake...again! I made it with applesauce, but still. Cake is so 'expensive' when it comes to WW points. I made a butter recipe flat cake with strawberry frosting, cut it into 12 pieces, and then had half of one of those. 4 points A 1/12 serving would have been 5 points, plus the frosting, which would have been 3 (1.5 T). I can handle 4 points for half of that. Of course, I also had 1/2 cup of milk, so add 2 more points for that. :)

For dinner we had pork chops again. I actually cut it off the bone and weighed it this time and it was only 3 ounces, so I'm sure I overestimated the one I ate Monday night. A 3 oz pork chop is 3 points, but I had a Hawaiian marinade on it that I forgot to figure the points for, so I'll count my pork chop as 4 points. I also had 1/2 cup of white rice (3 points), green beans (free) and 1 roll with ICBINB (4 points). 11 points for dinner.

For lunch I had a Smart Ones Homestyle Beef Pot Roast. Only 4 points.


I had a snack of popcorn this afternoon. 5 cups = 3 points.

After Scouts this evening we had dinner at Logan's. I had the mesquite grilled chicken (6 points. I usually count 4 because that's what the nutritional value comes up with, but I think it has to be more than that, so I'm counting 6) with a side salad (I'll count 4 points) and broccoli. I was strong and did not have a roll. 10 points for dinner.

Back to Life

Okay, I had a great weekend in GA and ate WAY more than I should, but that's okay. I am back on track today. I'll be glad to be home for a few weekends in a row so that I might actually 'continue' to lose over the weekends instead of gaining back everything I'd lost the week before.

For lunch I had a Smart Ones flatbread sandwich - Chicken Marinara with Mozzarella Cheese. 7 points


Dinner was delicious. I love coming back home after being out of town and getting back on plan and being able to cook a real dinner at home. We had pork chops (4 points), corn (1 point for 1/3 cup), broccoli (free), chicken & broccoli flavored rice (3 points for 1/2 cup), & rolls (4 points for 1 with ICBINB. I really need to go buy the light version. Then my roll would have only been 3 points). I meant to weigh my pork chop tonight since I haven't been weighing my proteins, but I forgot. I am always afraid my food is going to get cold while I am serving everyone else and portioning/weighing my own food. I do always measure my rice and point vegetables though. I'd say my pork chop tonight was about 4 ounces, which is 4 points. 12 points for dinner.


For an 8:00 snack/dessert I had 3 Godiva dark chocolate gems. 2 points

Weigh-in Day!

I did my weigh-in today because I'm leaving to go out of town this afternoon. What a GREAT week! I lost 3.8 pounds this week!! That gives me a total of 29.4 pounds lost so far!

I had the Smart Ones Breakfast Quesadilla for the first time this morning. It was quite good. 5 points

For lunch I tried the Smart Ones Chicken Ranchero wraps. They were okay. 2 meals in 1 box though, you can't beat that. 5 points I also had some melba snacks with 1 wedge of Laughing Cow creamy swiss cheese. 4 points

I will most likely have a McDonald's Southwestern Grilled chicken salad (11 points with the dressing) and a small order of fries (6 points) on the way to GA this evening. If so, that will be 17 points and will put me over 2 points for the day. I can't NOT get the fries though. :)

Cinco de Mayo

I had some leftover bacon this morning, along with a piece of toast and 2 pieces of cinnamon toast. This time I scraped the last of my LIGHT ICBINB out of the tub to save that 1 point AND I used Splenda instead of sugar to save another point. I have to admit that the toast with sugar last night was better and more satisfying than the ones with Splenda. I'll have to decide if that extra point is worth it. So, 4 points for the toast and 2 points for the bacon. 6 points for breakfast.

For lunch I celebrated Cinco de Mayo by having a Lean Cuisine Chicken Poblano meal. 7 points

Dinner was a Smart Ones Chicken Parmesan with spaghetti and 2 pieces of french bread with ICBINB. 10 points total



After the evening soccer games I had a salad of cucumbers, tomatoes, croutons, and bacon bits. 2 points

Breakfast for dinner

Since my weigh-in this morning was encouraging, I went with the same breakfast I had yesterday: Special K bar (2 points) and 1 cup of 2% milk (3 points). 5 points

I tried, for the first time, the Smart Ones Chicken Enchilada Suiza for lunch today. YUM-MY! 7 points It does have some kick to it though. I'm not a big fan of spicy, but with a Coke Zero I was good to go. Totally worth it!

I made breakfast for dinner tonight because I wanted bacon AND I thought it would be easier. Where did I get THAT from? Breakfast has to be the hardest meal to cook and still get everything done at the same time. Anyway, I had 2 fried eggs (4 points), 4 slices of bacon (4 points), 1 piece of french bread toasted with ICBINB and 2 pieces of french bread made into cinnamon toast (6 points for all the toast). That cinnamon toast was divine!! I used 1 T of ICBINB divided between the 3 pieces, but I bought regular instead of light ICBINB, so it was 2 points instead of 1 for the butter. Each piece of bread is 1 point each and I used 1 T of sugar, which was also 1 point. Thus, 6 points for all the toast, but it was well worth it!! 14 points for breakfast for dinner. Oh, and the regular piece of toast isn't in the picture because I ate it while my eggs were finishing up. :) I was hungry.

Cheeseburgers and Popchips

I had a Special K chocolate covered pretzel cereal bar and a cup of milk for breakfast. 5 points

For lunch I tried the Smart Ones mini cheeseburger (5 points). I was leery of it because it's so small, but paired with some barbecue potato flavored Popchips (3 points for 20 and on sale at Kroger) and some Coke Zero, it was a filling lunch for 8 points.

Dinner was BBQ chicken breast (5 points), 1/2 cup white rice (3 points), 1/3 cup of kernel corn (1 point), and 1 dinner roll with ICBINB ( 3 points). 12 points for dinner.

I had a snack of Kettlecorn after dinner. 3 points Then I also had 1 square of dark chocolate. 1 point

Spaghetti

I had a Smart Ones Cheesy Egg Scramble with Hashbrowns for breakfast this morning. It was pretty good. 5 points Smart Ones are on sale at Kroger right now - $1.49 if you buy 10.

No lunch for me today. I really should stop doing that. It really puts me in a bad mood at 4:00.

I had spaghetti and garlic bread for dinner. I'm going to count 18 points. I don't feel like figuring it all out tonight.

Pot Roast Day!!

I broke down and had a biscuit with gravy from Tudor's Biscuit World for breakfast/lunch today. I do not have the nutritional information for Tudor's, so I kind of have to guess on the points for that. In the past I counted it as 12 points, but today I thought to look up Hardees' biscuit and gravy (it's in my WW book) and it's counted as 15 points. I hate to admit it, but I would guess that Tudor's is at least as 'bad' as Hardee's, so I'm going to have to count 15 points for the biscuit with gravy. OUCH!

Pot Roast Sunday!! We had such a delicious dinner. It's nice to be home this weekend so that we can have our traditional pot roast Sunday. I had more roast than I usually do tonight, so I'm counting 7 points for it. I also had 1/2 cup of mashed potatoes (3 points), 1/3 cup of kernel corn (1 point), some green beans (free), and a dinner roll with ICBINB (3 points). 14 points for dinner. That's all my points for the day, so I guess I'm done. :)


I wish every day could be Pot Roast Day. :)

Saturday's post

I just realized I never posted this yesterday.

I had a banana and a Special K cereal bar for breakfast this morning. 2 points
I had an apple for a snack around 11:00, then some snack mix around 11:30. We were at my son's track meet and they had a health fair going on, so the snack mix was from that. I counted 5 points for it.

I had Subway for lunch - a 6 inch turkey & ham on white bread with provolone cheese, lite mayo, lettuce, tomato, spinach, cucumbers, olives, & salt and pepper. 10 points YUM!! Carter wanted a cookie and Charles wanted me to get the 3-fer deal, so I had one, too. 6 points for the white chocolate macadamia nut. YIKES!!

I was a snacking fool today. I had 2 cups of Kettle corn this afternoon. 3 points

I made fish (flounder), whole grain garlic flavored rice, and green beans for dinner, but I didn't really like it, so I only ate the green beans. I guess I'll count 2 points for that of the fish and rice that I did eat.

I had chocolate ice cream with pb for a late night snack. 6 points

IHOP

I had a banana for breakfast this morning.

For Lunch I had a Lean Cuisine meal - Cheddar potatoes with broccoli. 5 points

For dinner we went to IHOP and I had an omelet made with egg substitute with swiss cheese, tomatoes, and diced ham (9 points) and 3 slices of bacon (4 points). 13 points for dinner out isn't bad at all and it was YUMMY.

I'm back!

Going out of town really gets me out of the habit of writing every day. Of course, NOT writing it down here gets me out of the habit of keeping track of every single thing that goes in my mouth. So, today I am back!

This morning I had a Smart Ones english muffin with egg, Canadian bacon, and cheese. 6 points.

I had 2 chunks of Ritter Sport dark chocolate for a mid-morning snack. 2 points

I had a Lean Cuisine lasagne and 2 pieces of French bread with ICBINB at 4:45 before we went to the soccer fields. 11 points. We left the soccer fields at 10:00 PM and it had been quite cold, so I wanted chili. We stopped at Wendy's and I got a chili (5 points), but at the last minute I decided to get fries, too (6 points). 11 points total at Wendy's. So I went over my allotted points by 1 today.

Beer Butt Chicken

For lunch today I had leftover Pot Roast in the form of a sandwich. I counted 9 points for it.

We cooked a beer butt chicken for dinner tonight. I had 5 oz of chicken (7 points), 1/2 cup of chicken & broccoli rice (3 points), 1/4 cup of baked beans (2 points), and 2 slices of french bread with ICBINB. 12 points for dinner.

Ice Cream

Spring Break = no breakfast. :)

I had a Healthy Choice Cafe Steamer for lunch. Whiskey Steak. 7 points One thing I'm noticing about the Healthy Choice Steamer meals is that they're not well seasoned. I added salt & pepper to this one and it ended up being pretty good. It had a sweet flavor to it.

For dinner I had a 4 oz chicken breast (4 points), 8 tator tots (4 points), 1/4 cup of kernel corn (1 point) and some broccoli/cauliflower (free). 9 points for dinner. Plenty left for dessert. :)

I had my chocolate ice cream with peanut butter for dessert. I'm counting 6 points because I scooped more ice cream than I should have.

Wing Night

No breakfast this morning due to severe insomnia last night and sleeping in today. :)

I had a Lean Cuisine lasagne for lunch with 2 slices of French bread with ICBINB (I Can't Believe It's Not Butter). 11 points

I had an ice cream break this afternoon. A tad more than 1/2 cup of Breyer's Smooth & Dreamy Dark Velvet Chocolate with 1/2 T of creamy peanut butter mixed in. I'll count 5 points. It would have been 4, but it was more than 1/2 cup.

I'm not sure what happened, but I had a sudden urge to go to a local restaurant for Monday Wing Night this evening. I ate 13 wings (I think). Pizza Hut wings are 3 points for 2 and these were comparable, but seriously NOT as big as Pizza Hut, so I counted 18 points for them. Sigh...

Cake

I had a Smart Ones English Muffin with egg and Canadian Bacon for breakfast this morning. 6 points

Then we went to the lake to go birding. So much fun! You can check out my bird blog here.

After we got home from the lake I had a Healthy Choice Cafe Steamers: Roasted Chicken Marsala. 6 points. It was okay, but it needed more flavor.

My kids have been begging for cake all weekend. I love cake. I can't resist cake. I can pretty much resist everything else, but I have found that I can not resist cake. I did make it with applesauce instead of oil this time, but that still leaves 1 serving being 5 points instead of 7, and that's not even counting the icing. 1 Tablespoon of frosting adds 2 points, while 2 T adds 4 points. I think my piece probably had about 1.5 T so I counted my piece of cake as 8 points total. Of course, I also had to have milk. Sigh...I had less than half a cup, so we'll just make it an even 10 points for my cake and milk.

It's Sunday, so you know what that means... Pot Roast Day! My family absolutely LOVES Pot Roast Day. :) 5 points for the roast, 3 for the 1/2 cup of mashed potatoes, 3 for the French bread with ICBINB, free green beans, and 1 point for the 1/4 cup of kernel corn I had. 12 points for dinner.

Great day!

I am SOOOO excited about this morning's weigh-in. I lost **4** pounds this week!! Woo hoo!! That puts my total at 28.6! I was hoping to at least pass the 25 mark this week, as I've been wavering there for a couple of weeks now. I surpassed it and I SO hope it doesn't sneak back up next week.

I had a Special K Peaches & Berries bar for breakfast. 2 points I also had a cup of Spicy Mayan Chocolate coffee for 1 point.

I went shopping today and tried on a TON of clothes! I have gone down TWO sizes since I started! I also was able to buy a size MEDIUM shirt! I haven't worn a medium in probably 11 or 12 years! It's awesome! I can't wait to keep going down. I didn't buy much, just a couple of items, because I hope to not even be in this size for very long. :)

I had a salad from Chick Fil A for lunch - the grilled chicken Southwest Salad, with the nacho topping and the fat free honey mustard dressing. 10 points. I love CFA because they sell Coke Zero. :)

For dinner Charles and I went to Texas Steakhouse. I had a 6 oz ribeye (10 points.), green beans (1 point), part of the red bliss potatos (4 points), and then half of the half portion of onion petals (5 points). 20 points for dinner.

I decided to have oatmeal for breakfast this morning. It normally would have been 4 points, but I didn't even eat half of it. I'll count 3 points.

For lunch I had a Lean Cuisine Chicken Poblano. 7 points

I had a snack of Kettlecorn this afternoon. 2 cups for 3 points.

Last night at McDonald's I had a Buy 1 Get 1 Free coupon for my salad, so that's what I had for dinner again tonight. That worked out great since we had soccer again tonight and I was at the ball field all evening. 11 points

I had enough points left to have a Hostess chocolate cupcake with cream filling. 5 points YUM!

McDonald's Salad

Lunch was a Healthy Choice ravioli meal for 6 points. It was only okay.

I had a banana for a snack this afternoon.

We had McDonald's for dinner. I had the grilled chicken Southwest salad (11 points with the dressing) and a small order of fries (6 points). 17 points for dinner.

I haven't had dessert in a while, so I had some ice cream tonight. 1/2 cup of Breyer's 1/2 the fat chocolate with 1/2 T of creamy peanut butter mixed in. It should be 4 points, but I'm counting 5 points because I know I scooped more than 1/2 cup of ice cream.

On the road again...

Sorry I've been MIA the last few days. I had company over the weekend and just didn't get back in the swing of things yesterday. My weigh-in on Saturday hadn't maintained the 25 pounds lost I had hit on Tuesday or Wednesday of last week. My official weigh-in was only at 24.6 down, but that's ok. I'm happy to still be losing. Hopefully I'll bypass that 25 pound mark this week.

For lunch I had a Smart Ones Beef stew. Only 4 points and yummy!

I am headed out of town for the night, so I am going to go ahead and post this before entering my dinner. Hopefully I'll have tomorrow's post up tomorrow evening as usual.

Brisket

I had a cereal bar for breakfast. 2 points

My husband had a potluck at his work today and he made briskets to take in. He cut me some off for my lunch and it was absolutely DELICIOUS!!! It was this recipe, but without the BBQ sauce. I had probably 5 ounces, which I'm counting as 8 points.

For dinner we had more leftover brisket, this time with Bullseye original BBQ sauce. I counted 7 points for the meat that I ate (2 slices of brisket and 1 rib), 3 points from my strogonoff noodles (1/3 cup), 1 point for the BBQ sauce, 1 point for part of a roll, and 1 point for the tea I made that had 1 cup of Splenda and 1/2 cup of regular sugar in the gallon. 13 points for dinner.

Picnic

I had a peaches & berries Special K bar for breakfast this morning. 2 points

For lunch I had a Lean Cuisine lasagne and 2 pieces of french bread with ICBINB. 11 points.



I had some bruschetta on Sea Salt Melba snacks for a snack this afternoon. Only 1 point for 4! I just dice Roma tomatoes and add salt, garlic powder, & basil.



We had soccer from 5:30 until 8;15 tonight, so I packed us a picnic for dinner. I had a sub sandwich (7 points), 12 Doritos (4 points) and an apple. 11 points for dinner. I had bought some Fat Free mayonaise for my sandwich and it had no flavor whatsoever. Oh well.

Butter Chicken

I had a chocolatey pretzel Special K bar for breakfast. 2 points

For lunch I finished off that beer butt chicken from Saturday with a salad. Greens, bacon bits, croutons, chicken pieces, & raspberry dressing. Yummo! 7 points


Dinner was Famous Butter Chicken with a few changes. I used 1/4 cup of ICBINB instead of the 1/2 cup of butter. I added garlic powder, salt, pepper, and seasoned salt to the cracker mixture, but I obviously didn't add enough because it was kind of bland, but it was very moist. I also cooked it for 30 minutes instead of 40. I added everything up and came to the conclusion that my piece of chicken was 7 points. I also had chicken & broccoli rice (3 points), peas (1 point), and 1 roll with ICBINB (3 points). 14 points for dinner.
